Our SEO pricing plans

Each plan is a number of senior specialist hours a month. Prices exclude VAT; content production, media and ad spend are quoted separately. We start at €950 a month: below that there are not enough hours for the work to show.

Plan Hours Monthly fee Fits
Local or small project 12–15 h a month €1,050 – €1,250 A local business or a site under 100 pages in one market.
Standard 18–20 h a month €1,350 – €1,600 A services or B2B site in one country with steady competition.
Full SEO and GEO 22–25 h a month €1,750 – €2,200 Large catalogues, recoveries after a drop, migrations and AI visibility work.
International more than 25 h a month from €2,200 Two or more countries or languages, each with its own research.

SEO pricing models

  • Monthly retainer

A fixed fee for a set number of hours each month. The most common model for ongoing SEO, and the one we use: you know what you pay and how much senior time it buys.

  • Project fee

A one-off price for a defined piece of work: an audit, a migration, a site architecture. Useful to start, but rankings need ongoing work after the project ends.

  • Hourly rate

Pay for the hours used. Flexible for consulting and second opinions, harder to budget for, and it rewards slowness rather than results.

What drives the cost of SEO

  1. 1

    The size of the site

Tidying up 50 pages does not cost the same as a 20,000-product catalogue. Past a few thousand URLs, technical work (crawling, facets, templates) weighs more than content.

  2. 2

    Countries and languages

Each market has its own competitors, searches and content. A translation does not rank: every language needs its own research and adaptation.

  3. 3

    Competition in your sector

Ranking a clinic in a mid-sized city is not the same as competing for “car insurance” against brands with years of head start.

  4. 4

    Your starting point

Recovering from a drop or migrating a site without losing traffic needs a diagnosis first and weeks of intense work before the day-to-day.

  5. 5

    What the fee includes

Content, links and development are what most separates two proposals at the same price. Always ask what is included and what is billed separately.

SEO pricing: frequently asked questions

  • It depends on the size of the site, the markets and the competition. At iSocialWeb, SEO ranges from €1,050 a month (a local project, 12 to 15 hours) to more than €2,200 (international, over 25 hours); most projects sit between €1,350 and €1,650. The calculator on this page gives you the range for your case in a minute.

  • Because they are rarely the same thing. The difference lies in the senior hours behind the fee, whether content and links are included, and whether someone measures what happens to the business rather than just rankings. To compare two proposals, ask how many hours each specialist spends a month and which deliverables you get.

  • A diagnostic audit usually costs between €1,500 and €6,000 depending on the size of the site and the depth of the analysis. If you are coming from a traffic drop or about to migrate, it is the first step. Check a page right now with the free SEO audit, and see our SEO audit service for the full version.

  • In our case, link building and media placements are a flat fee of €850 a month, and media spend is separate because it depends on which outlets and how many. That way you know what you pay the agency and what you pay the publishers. More in media appearances and link building.

  • No. We work SEO and GEO on the same roadmap: ranking in Google and in the answers of ChatGPT, Gemini or AI Mode is the same work, and every month we measure which answers you appear in. See GEO and AI SEO.

  • Technical fixes and improvements to pages that already rank usually show within weeks. Ranking new content or building authority takes three to six months, longer in very competitive sectors. Be wary of anyone promising specific rankings on a short timeline.

  • Below €950 a month we cannot put the senior people on it who make the work show, and we would rather tell you than charge you. With that budget, a trusted freelance consultant and a single lever are your best bet. To start on your own, try these free SEO courses.
