Free GEO audit

Enter your site and what you sell. We read your site like an AI crawler and ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google the way a customer would. You get your GEO score, who they recommend instead and what to fix first.

In the plural, the way a customer would ask ChatGPT: “dental clinics in Austin”.

Free, no sign-up. We read your site and ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overview. It takes up to a minute.

How we work out the GEO score

The GEO score goes from 0 to 100. Half of it (50 points) measures whether your site is ready for AI to read, understand and quote it. The other half measures whether AI already names you: we ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI Overview three customer questions, twelve answers in all.

Can AI read you?

GEO audit: frequently asked questions

  • A GEO audit measures whether AI search engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI Overview) can read, understand and quote your site, and whether they already recommend you when a customer asks about what you sell. It is the AI version of an SEO audit. More in what GEO is.

  • From 70 (grade B) AI reads you well and names you in part of the answers. Below 40 it hardly ever recommends you. Most small businesses score higher on readiness than on presence: the site is well built, but AI does not name them yet.

  • Nearly. AEO (answer engine optimization) started with featured snippets and voice assistants; GEO (generative engine optimization) is about the answers an AI model writes. In practice they are worked the same way: more in what AEO is.

  • The SEO audit checks whether Google can rank a page. The GEO audit checks what AI needs to quote you: that its crawlers get in, that it knows who you are (company data and official profiles) and that you have facts worth quoting. And it actually asks the AI engines whether they name you.

  • Because AI recommends whoever it finds named in the sources it reads: comparisons, directories, press and sites with clear facts. If your competitors are in those sources and you are not, it skips you. That is why the 90-day plan starts with the sources AI cites in your industry. More in entity SEO.

  • SEO and GEO budgets start at €1,000 a month and cover the fixes, the content, mentions in the sources AI uses and weekly tracking. The amount depends on your site and your market: work out your case with the SEO pricing calculator.
