Website credibility checker for AI
Does AI see you as a trusted source or as spam?
AI search engines filter out spam and decide which sites to trust before they answer. See the 0-4 credibility score they give you, whether your pages are recent enough to be cited and which sources they pick instead of you.

What to do with your score
-
0-1
Low trust
AI will most likely discard you as a source. Check for duplicate, mass-produced or unsigned content, and get mentioned by sites it already trusts.
-
2
Acceptable source
The most common score. AI may use you, but given a higher-scoring source it will pick the other one. To climb: mentions on the media ranking ahead of you and dated pages.
-
3-4
Credible source
AI treats you as a reference source: the closest thing to a source of truth. Now it needs to pick you on your searches, with up-to-date content that answers what people ask.
What each figure means
-
Credibility score
A number from 0 to 4 that the AI search engine gives each site before using it as a source; 3 and up means highly trusted. We read it from DeepSeek's search engine, the only one that publishes it.
What GEO is → -
Spam filter
DeepSeek says it leaves out SEO fraud, GEO manipulation and low-quality AI content. Tricks to fool the search engine end up lowering your score or taking you out of the index.
What black hat SEO is → -
Readable date
The publication date the search engine manages to read from your page. When AI looks for recent content only, undated pages vanish from its sources.
How to answer answer engines → -
Per domain, not per page
In published tests, every page on the same subdomain gets the same score. That is why we show it per subdomain: your blog may score differently from your main site.
Why AI thinks in brands → -
The page reader
The robot that downloads your pages when AI cites them. DeepSeek's does not identify as a bot: it shows up as Firefox from Huawei Cloud in Hong Kong.
How search engines crawl → -
robots.txt
The file that tells robots what they may not read. In one test, DeepSeek's reader fetched pages blocked there, so do not rely on it to hide anything.

Credibility for AI: frequently asked questions
-
The search engines behind AI assistants score every site before using it as a source and filter out what they see as spam. Most do not show that score. DeepSeek does: its search engine, open to everyone since 17 October 2026, returns a 0-4 score (or -1 when unknown) with every result. This tool reads it for your domain.
-
The score does not say «spam» or «not spam»: it says how much it trusts you. If DeepSeek returns no page from your site, or you score 0 or 1, it is a sign that it sees you as unreliable or that its filter leaves you out. What lowers trust most is what Google already penalises: mass-produced content, no author or date, copied or made to manipulate the search engine.
-
Because the score seems to work per domain. In Suganthan Mohanadasan's test, his own site scored 1 while spam PDFs uploaded to a US government site and to Columbia University scored 4: a strong domain lends its trust to whatever is hosted on it. So the score is how AI sees you, not your site's real quality.
-
The same way you earn trust on Google: mentions on media AI already trusts, original and up-to-date content with a visible date, a clear author and a site that reads without JavaScript. To see whether AI also recommends you, use the free GEO audit.
