Best Shopify SEO agencies in Spain in 2026

A comparison of Spanish agencies that command Shopify's real limitations: collection structure, product URLs, filters, apps and theme performance.

Shopify is the most comfortable platform on the market to sell on and one of the most uncomfortable to do SEO on. The URL structure is rigid, the same product lives at several paths, tag filters generate duplication at industrial speed and a good share of performance depends on apps nobody has ever audited. An agency that has not worked the platform spends its first three months discovering those limits.

This comparison focuses on Spanish agencies with real projects on Shopify and Shopify Plus. Nobody pays to appear. The criterion is simple: who knows what can be fixed inside the platform, what requires touching the theme and what simply cannot be resolved without development.

iSocialWeb heads the list because it is our agency and we can justify every claim with projects, team and methodology. The rest are ordered by declared specialization, track record on the platform and publicly verifiable information.

How we built this ranking

These are the criteria we used to order the list. They are just as useful if you decide not to work with any of these agencies: they are the questions worth asking in any sales meeting.

  • Control of the /products/ and /collections/ paths. In Shopify the same product is reachable from several URLs. Knowing how to canonicalize, how to link internally and how to stop the search engine splitting signals between equivalent paths is the first thing separating a specialist from a generalist.
  • Collection and filter strategy. Collections are the equivalent of categories and tag filters multiply combinations without control. You need an explicit criterion about what gets indexed, what gets linked and what gets blocked.
  • Theme and app performance. Every installed app injects scripts. A store with fifteen active apps drags an impossible mobile LCP. The agency must audit the real impact of each one and know how to work in Liquid.
  • Transactional content that does not depend on the blog. Shopify stores overuse the native blog and neglect the pages that sell. The value is in product pages, collections and commercial-intent landings, not in publishing two posts a month.
  • Visibility in generative engines. AI assistants recommend products and compare stores. Working structured data, reviews and presence in cited sources is already part of the job, not a separate service.

No.1 iSocialWeb

iSocialWeb works Shopify from a business perspective, not a platform one. Before touching anything we audit which collections concentrate the margin, which paths are competing against each other and how much each installed app is costing in speed. In an average Shopify store, that diagnosis usually explains half the traffic ceiling without writing a single line of new content.

We are an AI-first, fully remote agency with a senior team across technical SEO, GEO, CRO and analytics. That combination matters especially on Shopify: the platform limits you technically, so the difference is won in collection architecture, in product page quality and in conversion rate, three fronts that demand different profiles working in coordination.

And we work the generative layer from the first sprint. Our GEO and AI SEO methodology measures which ChatGPT, Perplexity or AI Overviews answers your brand appears in when someone looks for products in your category, and executes on what those engines actually consume.

What sets us apart:

  • A platform-specific audit. Duplicate paths, canonicals, empty collections, tags out of control, the native sitemap and apps hurting performance. A Shopify diagnosis, not a generic template.
  • Direct intervention in the theme. We have our own development team. When the improvement requires touching Liquid, we do it rather than leaving it waiting for months in your developer's backlog.
  • Collections treated as money pages. Every relevant collection gets content, internal links and revenue tracking of its own. That is where commercial intent is captured in Shopify.
  • SEO and CRO on the same product page. We optimize the product page to rank and to sell at once, testing on real theme elements with clean measurement in Analytics.
  • Ready for Shopify Plus and international. Markets, language subfolders, hreflang and country-differentiated catalogs without breaking the structure or duplicating signals.
  • Revenue reporting, not ranking reporting. You will see organic revenue by collection and by product family in an open dashboard from day one.

Shopify's real SEO bottlenecks

The first is structural: Shopify serves the same product at /products/handle and at /collections/collection/products/handle. The platform canonicalizes by default, but the theme's internal linking usually points at the long path, so you end up spending crawl budget and splitting signals between equivalent versions of the same product. It is fixed by touching the theme, not the settings.

The second is tag filters. They are convenient for the user and lethal for the index: every combination generates a URL with near-identical content. Without an explicit criterion about which combinations have real demand and what gets blocked, the catalog fills with pages competing against each other.

The third is speed. Shopify is fast out of the box, but every app adds scripts that load on every page. It is common to find stores with review, upsell, chat, popup and duplicated analytics apps dragging mobile LCP well above acceptable, precisely where most purchase traffic sits.

The fourth is the blog. Shopify pushes you to publish on the native blog and many agencies stop there because it is the comfortable option. But the money is in collections and product pages, which capture transactional intent. An active blog with untouched collections is a store attracting readers rather than buyers.

When your Shopify store needs a specialized agency

  • You have more than 500 SKUs and nobody has ever reviewed the collection strategy.
  • Search Console shows thousands of URLs with filter parameters indexed.
  • Mobile PageSpeed is below 40 and nobody has audited the apps.
  • Product pages use the supplier's description exactly as received.
  • You are migrating to Shopify from another platform with no redirect plan.
  • You sell in several countries with Markets and do not know whether hreflang is set up properly.

Frequently asked questions about Shopify SEO agencies in Spain

  • It is a perfectly valid platform with known ceilings. In its favour: a solid technical base, fast hosting, HTTPS, an automatic sitemap and reasonable structured data out of the box. Against it: you do not control the URL structure, the same product lives at several paths and you depend on the theme and the apps for almost everything else. With a well-planned store you compete without difficulty in most sectors.

  • The product handle can be edited, but the /products/ and /collections/ prefixes are fixed and cannot be removed. Any proposal promising you flat URLs like domain.com/product on standard Shopify is not viable. What can be worked on is the handle, the internal linking, the canonicals and the collection architecture, which is where the real room for improvement lies.

  • For a store with a small catalog, between 800 and 1,500 € per month. For an established ecommerce in a competitive sector, between 2,000 and 4,500 € per month. Shopify Plus projects with several markets usually start at 4,000 €. Add an initial allocation for the technical audit and, if needed, for the work on the theme.

  • No. Apps automate specific tasks such as templated meta titles, redirects or structured data, and some are good. But they do not decide your collection architecture, do not prioritize by margin, do not write the product page that converts and do not spot that three collections are cannibalizing the same search intent. They are support, not strategy. And note: several of them are part of the performance problem.

  • Only once collections and product pages are already worked. The blog contributes acquisition in the informational phases of the buying process and helps build topical authority, but it is the last layer, not the first. If your store publishes articles while the main collections have 40 words of text, the priorities are inverted.

  • Yes. You can consult our general comparison of ecommerce SEO agencies. We also work WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento and headless projects.

So what now?

If your Shopify store has hit a ceiling, the problem is most likely structure rather than content. Ask us for an audit and we will show you the duplicate paths, the untouched collections and the real speed cost of your apps, with an estimate of recoverable traffic and revenue.

We deliver it with priorities and estimated effort, so you can execute it with us or with your in-house team.
