Selling on Amazon is not uploading the catalog and waiting. It is a search engine of its own, with its own algorithm, an advertising platform that takes more of brands' budgets every year, and day-to-day operations (stock, pricing, account issues, reviews) that decide whether a product that starts selling keeps selling.
That is why the Amazon agency market in Spain is so uneven: there are specialists who have been managing accounts for more than a decade, retail media agencies focused on DSP for big brands, and generalist agencies that have added Amazon to their service list. This comparison rewards whoever covers the three faces of the channel: ranking, advertising and the account.
Nobody pays to appear in this ranking. The list is ordered by declared specialization, track record and publicly verifiable information on each agency's website.
How we built this ranking
These are the criteria we used to order the list. They are just as useful if you decide not to work with any of these agencies: they are the questions worth asking in any sales meeting.
- Organic ranking inside Amazon. Amazon-specific keyword research, titles, bullet points, hidden search terms and complete attributes. A listing that is not on the first page barely sells, however much advertising it has.
- Amazon Ads with profitability targets. Sponsored Products, Brands and Display structured by product, with ACOS and TACOS targets and constant negative keyword work. And DSP when the brand's volume justifies it.
- Command of Seller and Vendor Central. Catalog, variations, account issues, support cases, the Buy Box and account health. Unglamorous tasks that, handled badly, stop sales dead.
- A+ content and a Brand Store that convert. Conversion weighs on ranking. Images, A+ content and the brand store must answer the doubts that send shoppers to the competition.
- A view beyond Amazon. Amazon lives alongside your online store, Google Shopping and the other marketplaces. The agency scores when it coordinates pricing, catalog and advertising across channels instead of optimizing Amazon at the expense of everything else.

No.1 iSocialWeb
At iSocialWeb we work Amazon with the same team that handles SEO, Google Ads and CRO for our clients' online stores. That is our difference from agencies that only look at Amazon: we decide which products to push on the marketplace and which on your own website using margin data from both channels.
Amazon SEO is SEO: demand research, text relevance and conversion. We have been doing it for years on search engines and on large commerce platforms; Mercado Libre, the largest marketplace in Latin America, has worked with us on its digital marketing strategy. We apply it to Amazon's search engine under its own rules: hidden search terms, catalog attributes and a listing that persuades.
And we look at where the channel is heading: AI shopping assistants read the full listing, the reviews and customer questions to give their answers. The catalog work we do for Amazon is the same work your brand needs to show up when someone asks AI what to buy.
What sets us apart:
- Amazon and your ecommerce in the same strategy. Pricing, catalog and advertising coordinated across Amazon, your store and Google Shopping.
- Listing SEO built on real Amazon demand. Titles, bullet points, search terms and attributes worked from what people search for on Amazon, not on Google.
- Amazon Ads run for profitability. Campaigns by product with ACOS and TACOS targets and weekly adjustments based on real search terms.
- Conversion as a ranking lever. Images, A+ content and Brand Store designed to convert, because on Amazon selling more is how you climb.
- Seller and Vendor Central. Day-to-day account management: catalog, account issues, stock and account health.
- A sales report, not a clicks report. Organic and paid sales, ACOS, TACOS and the positions of your main keywords every month.

The three faces of selling on Amazon
The first is the search engine. Amazon ranks results with its own algorithm, which the market calls A9 or A10, and while it does not publish how it works, it makes clear what it cares about: that the listing is relevant to the search and that the product sells. If a word is not in the title, the bullet points, the hidden search terms or the attributes, the product does not compete for it. And if it competes but does not convert, it drops.
The second is advertising. Amazon Ads has become one of the largest advertising platforms in the world, and in many categories the top results are ads. Sponsored Products drives sales for each product, Sponsored Brands works the brand and DSP reaches audiences on and off Amazon. Sales generated by ads add to the product's sales history, so advertising and ranking feed each other.
The third is the account. On Seller Central you sell yourself and control price and stock; on Vendor Central you sell to Amazon as a supplier. Both models involve a catalog to maintain, issues to resolve, a Buy Box to defend and reviews to read. It is the least glamorous part of the work and the one that loses the most sales when it fails.
And a fourth is emerging: AI shopping assistants, on and off Amazon, that answer product questions by reading listings, attributes and reviews. Brands with a complete, well-described catalog will have the edge when part of the purchase journey starts with a question instead of a search.
Signs your Amazon channel is badly managed
- Your titles and bullet points are the same as on your website, with no Amazon keyword research.
- Nobody can tell you your TACOS, only your campaigns' ACOS.
- You have products out of stock or suppressed and you find out from the drop in sales.
- Another seller is winning the Buy Box on your own products.
- Your brand is registered but you have no A+ content or brand store.
- Amazon and your online store compete on price without anyone having decided it.
Frequently asked questions about Amazon agencies in Spain
-
It helps a brand sell more on Amazon: it ranks its products in Amazon's search engine, manages Amazon Ads campaigns, improves listings and A+ content, and runs the day-to-day of the account in Seller Central or Vendor Central.
-
On Seller Central you sell directly to Amazon customers and control price, stock and logistics (your own or FBA). On Vendor Central you sell to Amazon as a supplier and Amazon sets the retail price. Many large brands combine both. The agency must master the model you use.
-
It depends on the number of products, the number of marketplaces and whether advertising is included. The usual setup is a monthly management fee, sometimes combined with a percentage of Amazon Ads spend or of sales. Ad spend is paid separately, directly to Amazon. Always ask what the fee includes: listing SEO, A+ content, issue management or just campaigns.
-
ACOS is ad spend divided by the sales attributed to that advertising. TACOS is ad spend divided by the product's total sales, organic ones included. TACOS tells you whether advertising is helping the business grow or just buying sales you would have had anyway.
-
If you have a registered trademark, yes: it gives you access to A+ content, the brand store, Sponsored Brands and protection tools against sellers who copy your listings.
So what now?
If you sell on Amazon and do not know what share of your sales comes from advertising and what share from search, or if your listings are a copy of your website's, there are sales on the table. Ask us for an account audit: we review catalog, listings, campaigns and account health, and tell you what to fix first.
No punishing lock-ins: if the channel does not improve, there is no reason to keep paying to have it managed.
